Social and Emotional Intelligence

To put it simply, social intelligence refers to an individuals ability to respond appropriately in social situations whereas emotional intelligence refers to ones ability to recognise and control their own emotions by being empathetic, compassionate and considerate in order to produce a desired outcome (FME, 2014).
